Has the concept of a “Film series” with a real “plot” (Or “reality vision styled”) telling a “story” of what is “provacatve” to consumer; say, the “Lethal weapon series”, Godfather, other “multiple segmented” stories of “whatever” – and the GERMANE (not gratuitous) sex (reality is it IS “opiate of the masses”) is displayed for 1)dynamic of story and 2)”sexual arousal”? Say, a “torrid” love-triangle, a story of two swingers unknowingly “screwing with” drug dealers, a teen+ nephew whose aunt in law slides into his bed with hated, mean uncle passed out drunk in “marital bed”- and the ensuing “sexual release” being the “clear need” for a lovemaking partner, and the myriad of “events” ensuing “aunt’s one time taboo” turning out to be “purest longterm love affair”?

That golden era is long-gone for the most part. I think the closest you’ll find is some late night Cinemax. There are some cosplay performers that get in-depth with some of those things. Nothing to the extremes of a full-blown series though. At least not to the best of my knowledge.

I would love to film stuff like this, but the demand for it is gone. Membership sites and major players (Brazzers, etc) used to film multiple-scene series, but with the strongest sales in the 5-7 minute mark, it’s tough to justify filming a series. When I have done Part 1 & Part 2 videos, it is extremely rare that both parts sell decently, and packaging both at a discount doesn’t work well either. In my fantasy world I’d like to do stuff like this, but there’s only 24 hours in a day, and I don’t have time to film stuff that might not sell 🙁

There are some studios that are still somewhat doing that, but it’s all on a very minor level. I know Vixen/Blacked/Tushy is trying to bring that back a little. But that’s really just referencing things from other scenes more-so than having a full-blown plot-line.

There’s some predictions that the paysite model is going to start bouncing back. This is due to a wide range of things; leaps and bounds in global intellectual property laws and enforcement, producers no longer buying into the tube-model, the “free porn boom” thinning the heard of the producers / webmasters that couldn’t figure out how to compete, advertisers figuring out purchased tube traffic isn’t that great, the list goes on.

If the paysite model does bounce back, there’s a chance that we do start seeing more thought and story going into productions. To what extent? Nothing that’s going to compete with Hollywood, that’s for sure.
